I think Resident Evil 2 Remake is a perfect entry in the series because it really cements this series as one of the greatest of all time.
In the previous installments (mostly Resident evil 5 and 6) the non-stop action made it a little bit difficult to really embrace its history as a top dog in the survival horror genre. I think the most impressive feat that this game accomplished was it's ability to really go all in on that horror atmosphere that has been missing from the last few titles. Fast forward almost 18 years later, It'd finally be my chance to play a resident evil title on my own. I remember spending entire nights watching my older brother play through the titles while my father helped solve puzzles and point him in the right direction.
